Overnight, Russia carried out what appears to be its largest drone and missile attack on Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war. According to Ukraine’s Air Force Command, Russia launched 728 drones of various types, along with seven cruise missiles and six Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles. Ukrainian forces said they destroyed 711 of the drones and all seven cruise missiles.

The city of Lutsk, in the Volyn region, was the primary target of the assault, the Air Force Command said.

“This night, our region was once again subjected to a massive attack. Nearly everything was aimed at Lutsk,” Governor Ivan Rudnytskyi wrote on Telegram. According to him, the strike ignited fires at warehouse facilities belonging to a local business, as well as in a garage complex.

Russian drones and missiles also struck the Khmelnytskyi region, according to RBC-Ukraine. Local authorities reported damage to the roof and wall of a private home. No injuries were reported.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, a woman was injured and several residential buildings were destroyed, regional officials said.

Drones also struck the Kyiv region, where another woman was injured. Fires were reported following the attack.
