U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg arrives in Kyiv

Keith Kellogg, U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, arrived in Kyiv on Monday. Footage of his arrival at the city’s railway station was shared by Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian president’s office.

“Defense, strengthening security, weapons, sanctions, protecting our people, and deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States — there’s a lot to discuss,” Yermak wrote.

As the German news agency dpa noted, Kellogg had earlier said his visit to Kyiv was expected to last a week.

He first announced his plans to visit on Friday, July 11, during the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry later confirmed the trip. Until then, it had not appeared on Kellogg’s public schedule.
